A Grow with Me Plan is a perfect way to document those milestones that happen so quickly during your baby’s first year. When you purchase the Grow with me package we can put all your dates on the calendar. Having concrete dates for each of the milestones will help families organize their busy lives and make sure that those moments do not slip away undocumented.  My Grow with me package includes 3 sessions They can be mixed such as Maternity, Newborn and ONE yr. or Newborn, Sitter, ONE Yr. You can also add sessions such as 9 months old.

I also have a new package which includes just baby every month for the whole year! I photographed J. as a newborn and continued to photograph him once a month for the first year! It was an honor to photograph this sweet little guy.

I absolutely love being a newborn photographer for countless reasons, but my favorite is witnessing the overwhelming joy and excitement of new parents as they welcome a new baby into the world. Being a top Short Pump, VA newborn photographer is such a honor, I can't imagine ever doing anything else. I am mainly a posed newborn photographer with many packages to choose from. I have all the props, outfits, headbands and wraps. All are sanitized and cleaned after each session. I customize the newborn session to you.

Welcome to the world Kai, 8 days new. His parents loved their trips to Hawaii. So, they named their son a cool surfer name. He was so precious and his big sister whom i photographed 2.5 yrs ago just loved on her baby brother. I found the perfect little surf board to photograph him on. Newborn photography is my favorite! Introducing baby M. 7 days new. I had the honor of photographing her sister 11 months prior. I love when families come back as their family grows. Big sis did a great job with her little sister. Baby M. was just perfect for her Studio session at my home studio in Richmond, VA. Mom chose sage green and pink for her colors adn the bed and swing for props. The deluxe newborn session can take 2-3 hrs. The studio is warmed up to 80 degrees to help keep baby calm and sleepy. I try and photograph family and siblings first then concentrate on just baby. It's hard to beat a beautiful spring Cherry Blossom proposal at Windsor Farms, VA ... especially when it's at golden hour, and the soon to be bride is your daughter!!

If you couldn't tell already... this was an epic proposal!

Josh had asked for my daughters hand in marriage a few weeks prior and I was so happy for them. They met their Sophmore year in college. My daughter is a Senior in College now and will graduate in May. I suggested the Cherry Blossoms because my daughter had already asked me to take their photos so this would a perfect suprise and she would be all dressed up with out even realizing what was about to happen.

The day was perfect mid 70s full bloomed cherry blossoms. We arrived and from the start i guess Josh couldn’t wait so he proposed . Madison was so giddy and excited. It was such an honor to photograph my baby girls engagemnt. I wish nothing but happiness and love for their next adventure.

It was a joy to be a part of such a sweet moment for these two... congratulations to Josh & Madison on your engagement! I love you both!

I’m so excited to finally share my favorites from this year’s fall mini sessions! This was my 11 th year offering fall mini sessions, I got to meet a couple of new families as well as work with some previous families I’ve worked with for years. I consider it such an honor to give families the gift of beautiful family portraits during all seasons of life. On mini session days, I get to do so many different types of family sessions – large families, kids, couples, babies…it’s the best!

I had the honor of photographing this sweet little boy, He slept during his whole session. I got to use a few props one of which is my favorite Winnie the pooh set up. He rocked his session! Time to save some dates!! I know time can get away from us with school starting and just a hetic life. I wanted to share some of the Fall/Christmas mini sessions coming this year!

Fall minis will be around the end of Oct. Early Nov…this is dependant on the leaves changing colors so the dates can change. I will have two locations.

The first location is a little spot in short pump that has very pretty fall folliage.

The other is a little farm with a red barn and tall grass with some cut outs and walk ways that will make a beautiful fall backdrop.

Santa and Mrs. Clause will be back in the studio this year! This is always sold out so grab your spot before they are gone. Dec. 2nd from 10a.m. - Noon

Red Truck minis will be held on Dec. 2nd in the late afternoon.

Christmas Tree farm minis will be held on Dec 3rd in the late afternoon.

Christmas and Fall backdrops are always an option for newborns and babies just in case its too cold outside. Here are a few of the backdrops I have available.

OMGoodness!

This beautiful baby boy was simply perfection during his newborn photo session in my Richmond, VA studio this past week. It's such a pleasure to photograph these littles.

At 3 weeks old I wasn’t sure if we were going to get a few tummy poses but he knocked it out of the park. He slept right through making it for a lovely, calm experience for his parents. They were able to have a little rest while I worked my magic.

Babies are best photographed before they are 10 days old but sometimes that doesn’t work out so I try my best to pose babies in a safe and comfortable setting.

Sweet little Z. was 9 days old for her session. She was a wake for a few shots but then fell fast asleep. She was simply perfection during her newborn photography session. She was well fed and slept beautifully allowing for so many set ups.

Her mama wanted pinks and white for the session so that is what i pulled. Everything is washed and santized after each session.

Boudoir maternity sessions are becoming quite popular and for a good reason – they are AMAZING. It’s the most real and raw a woman can be, I try and get some images of the beautiful mama to be in a gown then we can move on to a more bourdoir form of the maternity session. Many of my clients might even choose to wear a beautiful robe in a soft color or bring along their favorite neural colored undergarments. These are a sneak peek from the most recent boudoir sessions i photographed. My home studio is located in Richmond, VA. I have a few maternity dresses you could borrow.

She was super alert during her newborn session which means I got lots of snuggle time. although her happiest place is with her beautiful mama.  She had me working for these image but we did get so many great ones!

This adorable little man graced my studio last week for his newborn photography session. He is such q little doll and super cuddly. I know, it's a tough job... someone has to do it. 
His big brother was so good with him! He slept great for most of his session in my short pump, VA home studio. In the end we did get an open eye shots which the parents wanted.

It is very important to follow the prep instructions for your newborn session. This will help keep the baby happy and easy to pose.

Gorgeous baby Lainey is back in the studio! For her 9 month session. I have photographed her birth and every three months. This is a great way to capture your babies milestones!

She was all smiles and simply so fun to photograph.  We tried something different and used a pool backdrop since it was June to capture a fun summer feel.

I have a few options to the milestone package. There is a 3 session package which we can customize or a 5 session package as well that can be customized. The only session that must be in studio is the newborn session after that as long as the temp. don’t fall to low we can take some outside photos as well. Parents and sibligns are always included in the grow with me package.

I’m located in Short Pump, VA.

Time goes by so quickly in the first year. Funny, I don't feel any older.
